ABOUT / PROFILE
Yitang Yang
Yitang Yang is a Communication Design student whose work moves between graphic design, image-making, UI/UX, identity systems, integrated advertising, and photography.
After arriving in Germany in 2018, I studied for three years at Marienhöhe Gymnasium in Darmstadt before transferring to Schiller Gymnasium in Potsdam. I was later admitted to the University of Europe for Applied Sciences to study Communication Design through the besondere künstlerische Begabung program.
Alongside design studies, I have developed a strong interest in creative photography, landscape photography, and applied fashion. I am especially interested in how photographic work can be integrated into design projects as a visual and conceptual method.
In graphic design, I am drawn to lines, shadows, restrained structures, and minimalist but refined visual systems. This website serves as a semi-permanent portfolio, continuously updated with original design projects and photography work.
